ABOUT the festival

Launched in 2023, the Indigenous Arts and Music Festival was created to celebrate the vibrant cultures, histories, and contemporary expressions of Indigenous peoples across the United States and Canada. Each year, the Big Cypress Seminole Reservation becomes a gathering place for musicians, dancers, speakers, artists, and community members to share their talents, stories, and traditions.

This free annual celebration highlights the diversity and creativity of Indigenous communities through live performances, cultural demonstrations, and hands‑on experiences. Guests can enjoy Native American cuisine, wildlife demonstrations, artisan vendors, Seminole cultural presentations, a carnival, and many additional activities for all ages.

At its heart, the festival is a space for cultural exchange—where visitors can learn, connect, and experience Indigenous artistry in an environment that honors both tradition and innovation. Whether you come for the music, the food, the art, or the community, the Indigenous Arts and Music Festival offers a meaningful and memorable experience for everyone.
